If you only read, nothing that identifies you. If you write to us through the contact page, we receive your name, email address and message, and we use them to reply and, when you’ve reported an error, to check and fix it.

The Tool Shelf doesn’t set cookies, run advertising pixels or use third-party analytics, which is why there’s no cookie banner.
Sharing your information
We do not sell, rent or share your personal information.
How long we keep it
Messages stay with us for as long as we need them to deal with what you asked about.
Your rights
You can ask to see what we hold about you, have it corrected or have it deleted. Depending on where you live, you may also be able to complain to a data protection authority. Send requests through the contact page.
Children
The Tool Shelf isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them.
